All passengers were safely transferred to Kanpur Central Station via MEMU trains and buses and sent onward to their destinations by special train. The cause of the derailment is believed to be a collision between the engine and a boulder near Panaki, leading to the derailment of all coaches. A high-level investigation has been ordered to determine the cause of the accident. The train carried 1641 passengers, and chaos ensued as they were thrown about due to the impact. A passenger assistance center has been set up at Kanpur Central Station for any information and assistance.

Derailment ka reason maana ja raha hai ki Panaki ke paas engine ek boulder se takrayi aur isse sabhi bogie patree se utar gaye. Hadse ki jaanch ke liye high-level investigation ka aadesh diya gaya hai. Train me 1641 passengers the aur jab hadsa hua, to sabhi log ek doosre par gir gaye. Kanpur Central Station par passenger assistance centre bhi khol diya gaya hai, jahan se information aur madad mili sakti hai.

Evidence is protected, which was found near the 16th coach from the loco. As per the initial investigation, there is no fracture in the railway track. IB and UP police are also working on it. A YouTuber was arrested a few days back for placing objects on railway tracks for creating videos this incident might be a similar case too.
