Dear User any one know the current status of Bhagalpur to Mandar Hill line and further extension to Dumka?. Is railway run any service to this route? Because this route is meter gauge in past. Recently I hear that railway has conduct a trail run upto Hansdiha.

bhagalpur mandar hill was running till recently...its broad gauge and not metre gauge...inspection has been done upto hansdiha and the plan is to connect it to dumka...but a minimum of 5-10 years for trains to run from bgp mandar hill dumka jasidih stretch....
