Vivek.Venugopalan^~ 2148 blog postsOne of my friends booked 6 tickets in this train from Vasai Road to Sawantwadi which comes under RLWL. The status of the ticket a day before was RLWL 30 and so on. On the day of journey after charting, all 6 tickets got confirmed. Does this train have so much of VIP Quota? Seeing so much cancellation and that to on a RLWL in such a short span of time is really rare.
Short-distance tickets in long distance trains have high chances of confirmation due to berth multiplexing

RajendranRao 15 blog postsI was travelling in Gandhidham Nagercovil Express (16335) on 16th October 2015.... !! Man ....the Journey was so pathetic.... I got a confirmed Lower berth. When I was getting ready for the sleep and raised the middle berth..... horse-shit here came the lower panel board down-ward. Half of the panel board was hanging out of the nails, screws whatever it might used to fix it. And the food.... since i was using the stuff to reduce my hunger... I have no other option but to call it .."FOOD". Any cheap rate ayurvedic shops sub-standard Dashamulaarishtam...will be much tastier that the coffee served in the train. Lunch Dinner whatever you call it..... At any road side food vendor will surely provide you tastier food at lower costs than the one .... with i had struggled for 2 days.

Yes. But as per IRI, inaugural is in 1998, when KR started. Inaugural date should be uniform. I would say, actual inaugural should be considered rather than via KR.
It was started as 2613/14 TVC-Gandhidham express and used to take the CBE-KJM-DMM-GTL route. In 1997, it was extended to Nagercoil and later, rerouted via the Konkan railway.
