One PURE VEG south Inian Restaurant available outside Platform 4 (at a walking distance of 2/3 minutes).

One can directly deposit luggage there (that means scanning & police tag not required like other big stations).

The other side of Madgaon Jn (pf 3) is not so good. Ramps are provided but at start there are 2-3 steps over there. I didn't get any thing why they have provided steps over there
On station PF 1 you will get hotel. In hotel veg and non veg sections are different
If you are non drinker and train have some time to come or delayed and u want to eat something then come on PF 1. Don't go outside hotels.

The reason for 3 steps may be:
In the absence of steps, one can directly take the vehicle onto the ramp.
Due to steps, ramp is protected from entry of vehicles on ramp.

It didn't work for me, and keeps asking for mobile no. on my Nexus 4 mobile..
U have to enter ur mobile number,u will get OTP,after receiving OTP enter in the webpage,that's it u r connected to the internet
The Kadamba bus stand is around 2 kms from Railway Station. Autos charge between Rs. 100 to Rs. 150 depending upon the no of persons traveling. The rate is much lower (by around 20 - 30 Rs) if auto is caught from PF 3 side of Railway Station than PF 1 side of d station.
