Passengers coming from kalyan, panvel side can Get down at Thane to catch bus to Borivali, Miraroad, Bhyndar, vasai, nalasopara, virar, boisar, bhiwandi, wada, Palghar.
For Borivali & Miraroad BEST(AC), TMT(AC &NONAC), MSRTC Buses are available.
Remaining destination MSRTC buses are available from Thane depot.

Now PVT bus operators plays buses between Thane east to Miraeoad station.
For PVT bus o Mira Road you have to walk 3-4 minutes which will not be feasible if you have heavy luggage.Bus stop for Mira Road is on boht east & west side.The advantage of taking bus from east side is that bus starts from depot itself.If you cannot wait long for TMT bus, bus for Borivali ply at regular interval .You can alight at Kashi Mira (Shivaji Statue) & fro there you can catch auto.
could you please let me know the best way to reach kolshet road from thane station by public transport (AC Non AC Busues or Auto Rickshaw if available)
TMT stand at exit of Thane station, U can confirm the exact buses going to Kolshet, Kolshet is a termination point of one such route buses
U can get the TMT bus to kolshet from west outside of thane station. As per m-indicator app 3 buses are available. No are 90,95,98.

Believe me,Station is safe For Railfanning.But u have to be careful for littlebit as some people might interrupt you.I suggest you to do Rf at platform no 5(Fast line of kyn side) There...

For A Good RF Go to Platform 7's end Towards CST so you Can Catch LTT and CST Line Trains.
Platform Number 5 and 6 are Used For CST Trains.
Platform Number 7 and 8 are used for LTT Trains.
Even Freight Trains Comes on 7 and 8.

Medical shop now available just outside PF2 near FOB. This FOB is towards Kalyan side. Also, just beside the shop, a board is written that few types of blood test will be done at discounted prices. I did not take photo of the same though.
