He added that the electrification of railway lines in the UT has been completed and work on a railway overbridge near AFT ground is set to begin after August. New train connections for Puducherry are also under consideration. The Minister praised the Puducherry government for achieving 100% target under Jal Jeevan Mission and said the Central government is committed to the overall development of the Union Territory. He plans to return in two months for further discussions on railway and water projects.

Unhone bataya ki UT me railway lines ka electrification kaam pura ho chuka hai aur August ke baad AFT ground ke paas railway overbridge banane ka kaam shuru ho jaayega. Puducherry ke liye new train connections pe bhi kaam chal raha hai. Minister ne Puducherry government ko Jal Jeevan Mission me 100% target achieve karne ke liye praise kiya aur kaha ki Central government Union Territory ke all-round development ke liye committed hai.
