जैसी ट्रेनें प्रभावित हुईं। अमृत भारत एक्सप्रेस वाल्मीकिनगर में 10 घंटे तक फंसी रही, जिससे यात्रियों में गुस्सा था और भोजन-पानी की कमी हो गई। शुक्रवार सुबह 9:40 बजे पेड़ को हटाने के बाद ट्रेनों का संचालन शुरू हुआ। बख्तियारपुर-बांह रेल लाइन पर 1.5 घंटे का ट्रैफिक ब्लॉक भी था, जिससे अप और डाउन लाइन पर ट्रेनें देरी से चल रही थीं, यात्रियों को परेशानी हुई। यह ब्लॉक रेल यातायात के लिए एक नया गैर-अंतरबद्धन प्रणाली लागू करने के लिए लगाया गया था।
