जब ट्रेन एक मेमू ट्रेन को पास करने के लिए रुकता हुआ था, जिससे उस ट्रेन के यात्रियों में गुस्सा था। एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन के यात्रियों ने बताया कि हमले के बाद ट्रेन में बहुत डर और अफरा-तफरी मच गई थी। रेलवे अधिकारियों ने घटना की जांच शुरू कर दी है। घायल यात्री, इम्तियाज आलम, ने बताया कि उन्हें अपनी चोट के बावजूद, प्रारंभिक उपचार नहीं मिला। रेलवे अधिकारियों ने घटना की पुष्टि और जांच की बात भी कही है। बिहार दैनिक यात्री संघ ने भी इस घटना की निंदा की है।
