The women demanded either demolition of all allotted quarters in the Loco Colony or repair and allocation. They also demanded cleaning of the colony, stating that snakes are often seen due to lack of cleanliness. Subsequently, the women went to the RPF post and submitted a memorandum demanding security. They stated that the robbery incident has made them and their children feel insecure, and they have stopped taking morning and evening walks. The RPF assured them of providing security in coordination with the local police. Several women, including Sanpa Ghosh, Lakshmi Priya Panda, K Tudu, Anjali Singh, B Renu Devi, and S Manjhi, were present. Notably, five to six unidentified robbers had tied the hands and feet of Dilip Kumar Panda, a JE at the Diesel Shed residing in quarter number L 204/1 in Bandamunda Loco Colony, and looted Rs. 10,000 cash and jewelry at gunpoint.

Mahilaon ne kaha ki colony mein safai nahin hone ki wajah se aaye din saap aadi ghoomte rehte hain. Iske baad, mahilaein RPF post pahunchi aur security dene ki demand karne ke liye memorandum submit kiya.
