daughter Mahi Patanwar since January 28, 2024, but their appeals to the local MLA, SDM, and Collector had been ignored. The protest ended after NTPC officials promised to consider their request. The family alleged that another villager was appointed in Gajendra's place, while they were left to fight for a job. The Sipat Tehsildar reprimanded the MGR supervisor for being late to the protest.
