machines are currently non-functional at Rajendra Nagar Terminal and Patna Junction. While the machines were functional from 2019 to 2022, they have been out of order since July 1, 2022, when single-use plastic was banned at stations. Despite the presence of these unusable machines, a significant amount of plastic bottles continue to be generated at the stations, with daily collection reaching 1-2 quintals at Patna Junction.

Terminal aur Patna Junction pe yeh machines kharab padi hain. 2019 se 2022 tak to yeh machines chalti thi, lekin 1 July 2022 se yeh band hain, jabse single-use plastic stations pe ban ho gaya. In useless machines ke hone ke bawjood, stations pe bahut saari plastic bottles nikalti hain, Patna Junction se roz 1-2 quintal bottles nikalti hain.

Railway officials have confirmed that the Rajendra Nagar - Howrah Express will soon commence operations from Ara. A trial run is scheduled for the first week of July, followed by the official launch of the regular service from July onwards. The Railway Ministry has reportedly approved this move. Former Ara MP and ex-Union Energy Minister, R.K. Singh, has advocated for extending this train service to Ara, requesting the railway minister to introduce trains from Ara to Howrah, Delhi, and Dhanbad. The Minister has reportedly greenlit this proposal.

Railway officials ne confirm kiya hai ki Rajendra Nagar - Howrah Express jaldi hi Ara se chalegi. July ke pahle hafte mein iska trial run hoga aur July se yeh train regular chaliyegi. रायपुर से टाटानगर का सफर अब दुःस्वप्न जैसा हो गया है। हर रोज ट्रेन को बिलासपुर से राउरकेला पहुंचने में 5 घंटे की जगह 7 घंटे लगते हैं, आगे राउरकेला से टाटा पहुंचने में 3 घंटे की जगह 5 से 6 घंटे लग रहे हैं। मुख्य परेशानी दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे में है.
