Station pe Amrit Bharat scheme ke tahat construction chal raha hai, jisse animals track pe aa jaate hain. Alag haadse mein, Rewa-Rani Kamalapati route pe chalne wali Vande Bharat train pe Tuesday raat ko Itarsi aur Powarkheda station ke beech jungle mein patthar maarne ki ghatna hui.
