Varanasi but couldn't be built due to technical reasons. The Railway Board has set a target to build 3200 coaches for Vande Bharat trains within two financial years, aiming for a total of 400 trains by 2027. These coaches will be built at ICF Chennai, RCF Kapurthala, and Modern Coach Factory, Rai Bareilly. Currently, 50 Vande Bharat trains are operational across the country, including the one running between Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Lucknow, and Prayagraj.

This caused inconvenience to the passengers. Due to rain in Uttarakhand, train number 15074 Tanakpur-Singrauli Express, which passes through Lucknow, was cancelled on Monday. In addition, 20 other trains on different routes were also cancelled. Around two dozen trains, including train number 13019 Howrah-Kathgodam Express, train number 15043 Lucknow Jn.-Kathgodam Express, train number 12208 Jammu Tawi-Kathgodam Express, and train number 15044 Kathgodam-Lucknow Jn. Express, were operated from other stations.
