Similarly, the chair car fare for the Vande Bharat is ₹990 while the third AC fare for Rajdhani is ₹860. The Vande Bharat also costs more than the Shatabdi and Duronto Expresses. The Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat is also costlier than the Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat, with fares being almost double for similar distances. However, the Vande Bharat is expected to be the fastest train between Dhanbad and Howrah, completing the journey in 3 hours and 3 minutes, compared to 3 hours 17 minutes for the Howrah Rajdhani, 3 hours 47 minutes for the Sealdah Rajdhani, and 3 hours 50 minutes for the Shatabdi Express.

The fare for the Vande Bharat is: Dhanbad-Gaya: Chair Car 935, Executive Chair Car 1565, Howrah-Dhanbad: Chair Car 825, Executive Chair Car 1540. On Saturday, a speed trial for the Gaya-Howrah-Gaya Vande Bharat will be conducted, departing Gaya at 7:00 AM. The train is expected to reach Dhanbad in 5 hours.
