The inauguration also included the launch of developmental projects at New Mirzapur station (29 crores), New Dagmagpur station (38 crores), and New Ahraura station (34 crores). The Dedicated Freight Corridor is part of the National Rail Plan, aiming for 100% electrification, multi-tracking of high-pressure routes, increased train speeds on Delhi-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai lines (up to 160 kmph), and eliminating all level crossings.
