The Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat Express (train number 20871/20872) costs ₹750 for chair car and ₹1460 for executive chair car from Tatanagar to Howrah. The same train costs ₹665 for chair car and ₹1215 for executive chair car from Tatanagar to Rourkela. This train also starts on 18th September. Both Vande Bharat Express trains will run six days a week, excluding Tuesdays. For passengers travelling from Tatanagar to Howrah, the Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat is cheaper than the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat. The chair car fare from Tatanagar to Howrah on the Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat is ₹750, while the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat costs ₹810. Similarly, the executive chair car fare is ₹1460 on the Rourkela-Howrah Vande Bharat and ₹1510 on the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat. The fare for the Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express (train number 21893/21894) is yet to be determined, but is expected to be finalized within a day or two. Kodarma, Parasnath, Dhanbad, Asansol, and Durgapur. The Tata Nagar-Patna Vande Bharat will depart from Tata Nagar at 10:15 am, reaching Patna at 8:15 pm with stopovers at Chandil, Muri, Bokaro, and Gomo. Both trains will have a 20-minute stopover at Dhanbad and Gomo respectively. From September 18th, both trains will operate on a regular schedule, the Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat will run six days a week (except Thursday) and the Tata Nagar-Patna Vande Bharat will run four days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). The Tata Nagar-Patna route will see two Vande Bharat Express trains, one running four days a week and the other running once a week. Booking for both trains is open, with most seats currently available.

The Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat is also costlier than the Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat, with fares being almost double for similar distances. However, the Vande Bharat is expected to be the fastest train between Dhanbad and Howrah, completing the journey in 3 hours and 3 minutes, compared to 3 hours 17 minutes for the Howrah Rajdhani, 3 hours 47 minutes for the Sealdah Rajdhani, and 3 hours 50 minutes for the Shatabdi Express.
