huyi ghatna ke baad hui hai, jab Latemada Railway Station ke paas Tiruldih police station area mein ek express train ne ek hathi ko maar diya tha. Pichhle kuch dinon se, jangli hathiyon ka jhund Nimdih mein Chandil Dam aur aaspaas ke ilakon mein dera jamaaye hue hain. The Tata-Hatia train was delayed for an hour and fifteen minutes due to the incident. Local villagers arrived at the scene and performed rituals for the deceased elephant. Forest officials from Chandi, including the ranger manager, arrived at the scene. This incident marks the fifth elephant death in the Chandi sub-division in the past 18 months. A medical team arrived at Latemada to conduct a post-mortem on the elephant.
