PM Modi will also be present for the inauguration of other railway projects in Chennai, including track doubling on various lines. The specific route details for the Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express are yet to be finalized. While the Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat Express schedule and route are not yet released, they will be updated as soon as they are confirmed. Previously, there was a weekly Vande Bharat Express service between Chennai Egmore and Nagercoil, but passengers requested a daily service. Following a recommendation from the Southern Railway Administration, the Railway Board has approved a daily service. The new daily Vande Bharat Express (train number 06067) will depart Chennai Egmore every Thursday at 5:15 AM, starting January 1, 2024. The train will reach Nagercoil at 2:10 PM on the same day. The return journey, the Nagercoil-Chennai Vande Bharat Express (06068), will depart Nagercoil on Thursday at 2:50 PM and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 11:45 PM.

Chennai-Nagercoil Vande Bharat Express ko officially launch karenge. Chennai se, woh Madurai to Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express ko start karne ke liye video conference karenge. PM Modi Chennai mein aur bhi railway projects ko open karenge, jaise ki Aralvainozhi- Nagercoil & Melappalayam- Thirunelveli line aur Nagercoil Town- Nagercoil Junction- Kanyakumari line ka doubling. Madurai to Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express route details abhi tak finalize nahi hue hain. Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat Express ka schedule aur route bhi abhi tak release nahi hua hai, lekin jab confirm ho jaayega, toh woh yahaan update kar diya jaayega. Pehle, Chennai Egmore aur Nagercoil ke beech har hafte ek Vande Bharat train service chalti thi, lekin passengers ne daily service ki demand ki thi. Coimbatore aur Mettupalayam jaate hain. Abhi passengers ko Coimbatore mein utarna padta hai aur fir dusri train ya road se Mettupalayam jaana padta hai. Association ne Pollachi - Coimbatore Unreserved Express trains ke travel time ko bhi kam karne ka request kiya hai, aur unhone Coimbatore - Madurai Unreserved Daily Express ke kam travel time ka example diya hai.
