The delays caused water shortages on both Clone Special trains. Passengers clashed with railway staff at several stations along the journey from Anand Vihar to Muzaffarpur, demanding water. The Guwahati-Shri Ganganagar Weekly Express also arrived at the junction five hours and 54 minutes late, causing inconvenience to passengers.

Bataya gaya hai ki block ke time alag-alag dino mein telecom, OHE power, platform suspension jaise department bhi block honge. Railway officials ne bataya ki block ke liye Thursday ko Sonpur se DRM aur unki team junction ke platform 7 aur 8 ka inspection karegi. Railway ki taraf se jaari letter mein kaha gaya hai ki platform 7 aur 8 se chalne wali 7 trains ko platform 6 aur 1 se chalaya jaayega. Motihari se Patliputra jaane wali Intercity Express, Raxaul-Muzaffarpur-Narkatiaganj MEMU aur Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur MEMU platform 1 se chalengin. Platform 6 se 05595-96 Samastipur-Muzaffarpur DEMU, 05266 Patliputra-Darbhanga MEMU, 05265 Darbhanga-Patliputra MEMU aur 15216-05287 Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur-Raxaul Passenger chalengin.
