Stoppage to Tejas Semi High speed Rajdhani Express at Sahibganj Station on Experimental basis

Northern Railway is introducing a stop for the Tejas Semi High Speed Rajdhani Express at Sahibganj station on an experimental basis. The changes are effective from October 10th and 15th, 2024, for train numbers 20502 and 20501 respectively. The new timetable includes arrival and departure times for Sahibganj station.

His wife, Kavita Devi, stated he had a valid second-class ticket, but it was lost during the incident. The Railway Court had initially rejected the claim, citing the lack of a ticket. However, the High Court found inconsistencies in the Railway's claims about the cause of death and deemed the incident an accident under Section 123(C)(2) of the Railways Act, 1989.

Delhi-Godda Express, has been introduced. This train will run between Delhi and Godda every Monday and Wednesday, offering direct connectivity between the two cities. The Delhi-Godda Express will depart from Old Delhi station at 3 PM on Mondays and arrive in Godda at 3:45 PM the next day. The return journey from Godda will depart at 10 AM on Wednesdays and arrive in Old Delhi at 9:10 AM the same day.
