The dismissal order was issued late Friday evening by the Senior Assistant Divisional Engineer of the Lucknow Division, stating that Aasne had violated service rules by recording an audio message about the accident and sharing it on social media without authorization. The dismissal also entails the recovery of railway housing and assets from Aasne. However, employee unions have expressed their dissatisfaction with the dismissal, claiming that Aasne had informed a junior engineer about the technical fault on July 14th, but the issue was not addressed in time. They believe the dismissal was an attempt by the railway authorities to conceal their shortcomings.

hai. Accident se 2 din pehle JE ne track check kiya tha aur koi galti nahi mili thi. Ab sawal uth raha hai ki sirf 2 din mein kya aisa ho gaya ki itna bada accident ho gaya. Accident mein 3 bogies palat gayi thi, 4 passengers ki jaan gayi aur 25 injured hue.

The accident resulted in four deaths and 25 injuries. Following the accident, rescue operations were initiated, and a CRS investigation was ordered. The investigation involved questioning officials and staff related to railway safety, security, signaling, engineering, mechanical, and traffic. Train number 15904, departing from Chandigarh on the night of July 17th at 11:59 PM, was traveling at a speed of 90 kilometers per hour. It reached Gonda railway station at 2:25 PM on July 18th and left at 2:28 PM. The train derailed and overturned at 2:41 PM, between Motiganj and Jhilahi Bazaar, around 18 kilometers from Gonda headquarters. Of the train's 24 coaches, 14 derailed, including six AC coaches and two coaches following the engine.
