and other engineering work are underway. Three new lines will be built to accommodate two Vande Bharat trains simultaneously. A dedicated team will handle maintenance and cleaning in three shifts to ensure passenger convenience and safety. Initially, the maintenance center was to be built in Kudada, but the location was changed due to its distance from Tatanagar station. Vande Bharat trains are planned to run from Tatanagar to Howrah, Patna, Puri, and Varanasi. The Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat train, which runs six days a week, currently passes through Tatanagar. The addition of Vande Bharat trains on the Bihar-Uttar Pradesh and Odisha-Puri routes will benefit travelers. The Indian Railways has ordered 3200 coaches for Vande Bharat trains from three companies, aiming for their introduction by 2027. Currently, more than two dozen Vande Bharat trains are ready, including some with sleeper class compartments. A Vande Bharat train with sleeper coaches is expected to run between Patna and Varanasi via Gaya.
