The Durg-Bhopal Amarkantak Express reached Bhopal at 6:45 PM, delayed by nearly eight hours. The Rewa-Rani Kamalapati Vande Bharat Express arrived at around 3:00 PM, delayed by an hour and a half. The Danapur-Pune Superfast Express was halted at Bhitoni station for approximately two hours, arriving at Itarsi station three hours late. The Jaynagar-LTT Pawan Express was stopped between Jabalpur and Karkabel for about three hours, arriving at Itarsi three and a half hours behind schedule. The 25,000 KV OHE wire snapped in the morning, causing sparks to fly. The incident caused no injuries. According to railway officials, train operations resumed after repairs were completed. The delayed Durg-Bhopal Amarkantak Express' return trip was also affected, departing from Bhopal for Durg three hours late.
