between Thursday evening and late night. All four confessed to stoning the trains while intoxicated. They were subsequently presented before the Sonpur Railway Court on Friday and remanded in judicial custody. The RPF Inspector in charge, Bharat Kumar, confirmed this. During the operation, Sajan Kumar, a resident of Ward No. 2 in Turki, was apprehended while fleeing after stoning the Awadh Assam Express. During questioning, he revealed that he and his companions were consuming alcohol on the railway line. On Thursday, they threw stones from the railway track at a passing train. A joint raid team including RPF Inspector Bharat Kumar, Daroga Gokulesh Pathak, Head Constable Shambhunath Shah, Constables Ritesh Kumar and LB Khan, along with GRP officers and personnel, carried out the operation. During the operation, based on information from a reliable source, the team reached near electric pole number 39/04 on the Turki railway section. Upon seeing the team, young men sitting on the railway line ran away. Three of them were apprehended by the joint team. Initial questioning revealed their identities as Sanjeev Kumar, Ankit Kumar, and Ajay Paswan, all residents of Ward 1, Turki Bardkurba, Turki police station area. These individuals also told the team that they were consuming alcohol on the railway line. Later, they felt a craving for mangoes and used stones from the railway line to throw at the train passing by. This incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday. According to information, last week, the RPF apprehended more than three notorious individuals involved in mobile snatching from running trains on the railway line. Their accomplices, out of resentment over their arrest, carried out the stoning of the trains. The RPF and GRP have now begun patrolling the railway section once again.
