sleeper trains will begin trial runs from August 15th, with the Vande Metro trial runs also starting soon. The sleeper trains feature improved comfort, including a redesigned foot area on the ladder for easy entry, new toilet designs, better air-conditioning control, enhanced seat cushions, and improved oxygen levels. The new Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches are cost-effective, costing around Rs 8-9 crore, compared to similar coaches in other developed countries that cost around Rs 10 crore. The Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav, highlighted the enhanced safety features of the new trains compared to existing mail/express trains.

Bharat sleeper trains 15 August se trial runs shuru karenge, aur Vande Metro trial runs bhi jaldi shuru hone waale hain. Sleeper trains mein improved comfort features hain, jaise ki ladder pe foot area ko redesign kiya gaya hai, new toilet designs, better air-conditioning control, enhanced seat cushions, aur oxygen levels ko bhi improve kiya gaya hai. New Vande Bharat Sleeper Coaches bahut cost-effective hain, inka cost around Rs 8-9 crore hai, jabki other developed countries mein aise coaches ka cost around Rs 10 crore hai. Chennai. He will also virtually launch the Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express. PM Modi will also be present for the inauguration of other railway projects in Chennai, including track doubling on various lines. The specific route details for the Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express are yet to be finalized. While the Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat Express schedule and route are not yet released, they will be updated as soon as they are confirmed. Previously, there was a weekly Vande Bharat Express service between Chennai Egmore and Nagercoil, but passengers requested a daily service. Following a recommendation from the Southern Railway Administration, the Railway Board has approved a daily service. The new daily Vande Bharat Express (train number 06067) will depart Chennai Egmore every Thursday at 5:15 AM, starting January 1, 2024. The train will reach Nagercoil at 2:10 PM on the same day. The return journey, the Nagercoil-Chennai Vande Bharat Express (06068), will depart Nagercoil on Thursday at 2:50 PM and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 11:45 PM.
