They will follow a specific dress code similar to metro stations. The project marks another step towards privatization in the railway sector. A total of 25 inquiry centers will be operationalized across the division, with the contract lasting for three years. The tender, worth ₹7,01,55,849, seeks experienced and financially capable contractors. This privatization trend extends to various aspects of railway services, including catering, cleaning, ticket vending, paid waiting areas, complaint handling via social media, the 139 helpline, maintenance of smoke detectors on the Humsafar Express, crew management systems, the Rail Madad portal, and operations of trains like the Tejas Express. Other initiatives include Bharat Gaurav trains, restaurant-on-wheels, sleeping pods, and retiring rooms.
