South Central Railway announces massive cancellation and divertion of trains

Due to the construction of a third railway line between Asifabad and Rechní Road stations, there will be significant disruptions in train services on the Kazipet-Balharshah section of South Central Railway from June 26th. Additionally, 26 express trains will be diverted. This includes the cancellation of the Kagaznagar Express (No. 12757/12758) between Secunderabad and Sirpur Kagaznagar from June 26th to July 6th, the Pune-Kazipet Express (No. 22151) on June 28th and July 5th, and the Kazipet-Pune Express (No. 22152) on June 30th and July 7th. Several other trains, including those running between Secunderabad-Raxaul, Secunderabad-Danapur, and Secunderabad-Subedarganj, will also be canceled. The Secunderabad-New Delhi Telangana Express (No. 12723) will be diverted via Nizamabad and Mudked on July 4th, 5th, and 6th, with Kazipet, Ramagundam, Manchiryala, and Bellampalli stations removed from the route. The New Delhi-Secunderabad Telangana Express (No. 12724) will also be diverted on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th via Mudkhed and Nizamabad. 2012-13, while the Kazipet-Balharshah third line project received approval in 2015-16. However, there have been delays in the construction of these lines. The Kazipet-Balharshah section, with a planned length of 202 kilometers, is still incomplete. Of this, 159 kilometers are in Telangana and 43 kilometers are in Maharashtra. The project was allocated ₹2,063 crore in 2015-16. While 22.8 kilometers were completed in 2020, only 131 kilometers have been completed in the subsequent nine years, leaving 51 kilometers still pending. The Kazipet-Vijayawada section, with a total length of 219 kilometers, was approved in 2012-13 with an allocated budget of ₹1,952 crore. However, only 86.56 kilometers have been completed in the last 12 years, leaving 132.44 kilometers still pending.

Is project ke liye 2015-16 mein ₹2,063 crore ka budget allocate kiya gaya tha. 2020 mein sirf 22.8 kilometer line ban kar complete hui thi, aur aage ke 9 saalon mein sirf 131 kilometer aur ban paye hain, aur 51 kilometer abhi pending hai. Kazipet-Vijayawada section mein 219 kilometer lambi line banni hai, aur isko 2012-13 mein ₹1,952 crore ke budget se approve kiya gaya tha. Lekin, last 12 saalon mein sirf 86.56 kilometer hi complete ho paye hain, aur 132.44 kilometer abhi pending hai.

The Vande Bharat train to Secunderabad (20707) will also operate six days a week, leaving Secunderabad at 5:05 am and reaching Visakhapatnam at 1:50 pm. The return train (20708) departs Visakhapatnam at 2:45 pm and reaches Secunderabad at 11:20 pm. The inaugural runs will have open path timings, with regular schedules to be announced later.
