Due to the overwhelming crowd, the railway staff, including the GRP and RPF, struggled to maintain order. The situation was further complicated by ongoing non-interlocking work and a CRS inspection. To prevent any incidents, the DRM instructed the GRP and RPF to manage the crowd and keep passengers away from the platform. The railway staff also had to intervene to prevent passengers from crossing the tracks to reach the train.

sawar hone ki koshish mein saikdo yaatriyon ki train chhut gayi. 1 April Monday se Kasganj Tanakpur Mela Special chalaygi. Platform 2 par itni bheed thi ki har taraf afra-tafri thi. GRP aur RPF ke jawanon ki bheed control karne mein bhi taklif ho rahi thi. Non-interlocking ka kaam, CRS inspection aur bheed se railway staff ko bhi bahut pareshani ho rahi thi. DRM Rekha Yadav ne platform 2 par situation dekha aur GRP aur RPF ko instructions diye ki koi accident na ho. GRP aur RPF ne zor se logon ko platform se dur kiya. Tanakpur, Uttarakhand, and draws a large number of devotees from districts like Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Etah, Kasganj, and Badaun. Currently, there is no regular train between Tanakpur and Kasganj. The existing Tanakpur-Mathura Junction special train runs five days a week. The 05451 Kasganj-Tanakpur special train will depart daily from Kasganj at 5:00 am and arrive at Badaun at 6:30 am, Bareilly Junction at 7:49 am, Bareilly City at 8:05 am, Izzatnagar at 8:20 am, Bhojipura at 8:50 am, Pilibhit at 10:05 am, and finally reach Tanakpur at 11:55 am.
