Modi will also kickstart the Lok Sabha election campaign from Dhanbad, addressing a cluster meeting for the Dhanbad, Giridih, and Koderma Lok Sabha constituencies. He is scheduled to land at the Durgapur airport at 10:15 AM on Friday and will proceed to the HURL plant in Sindri by air. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for this alternative DC line on Friday. The DRM, Kamal Kishore Sinha, stated that this new line will significantly enhance Dhanbad's development, adding that trains will continue to operate on the existing line via Katras, while the new line will not interfere with its operations. The capacity of the Sindri Marshalling Yard will be increased to meet future needs, and the doubling of the Pradhankhunta-Pathardih Bazaar-Bhojudih rail line will facilitate smoother train traffic. The new line will run parallel to the Grand Chord from Dhanbad to Matari via Bhuli, Tetulmari, and Nichitpur. It will then connect to the Chandrapura railway line via Telo. For the return journey, the line will pass through Telo and over a rail overbridge to connect to the existing down line from Gomoh-Dhanbad. This new line is expected to increase train capacity between Dhanbad and Ranchi by more than double.
