When he didn't return by 11 PM, his family searched for him, but couldn't find him. Late at night, the Jhargram Station police contacted the family to inform them about his death in a train accident. His brother identified the body at the station. He had two sons, Anil Sahu and Devdas Sahu, who are students at the village school. His funeral was held on Wednesday evening at the village cremation ground according to Hindu rituals. His family is devastated by the incident.

Uske do bete, Anil Sahu aur Devdas Sahu, village school mein padhai karte hain. Uska funeral Wednesday evening ko village ke cremation ground pe Hindu rituals ke sath kiya gaya. Uske family ko yeh incident se bahut dukh ho raha hai.
