It stops at Babatpur, Jaunpur Junction, Shahganj, Akbarpur, Ayodhya Dham, Rudauli, and Daryabad. The 04218 MEMU Special departs from Lucknow at 4:30 PM and reaches Varanasi at 9:50 PM. It stops at Barabanki, Daryabad, Rudali, Ayodhya Dham, Akbarpur, Shahganj, Jaunpur Junction, and Babatpur.

The train driver, displaying quick thinking, stopped the train. The incident caused a major disruption on the Prayagraj-Ayodhya route as the damaged crossing was shut down and repaired. Traffic was severely affected, causing a two-kilometer long traffic jam lasting several hours.

The remaining 151 kilometers between Fafamau and Ayodhya Dham will be doubled as part of this project. The electrification of the railway line between Prayagraj and Ayodhya was completed by the Central Railway Electrification Organization Prayagraj in 2022.
