Engineers from Konkan, AFCON International Limited, who are involved in the USBRL project on behalf of the Northern Railway, reported that the work of 25 KV, Railway Electrification (ROCS) between Sangaldan and Khari stations was completed by Siemens Limited. The Northern Railway Firozpur division successfully operated the eight-coach engine train. The electric train run was organized on the Banihal-Khari-Sumber-Sangaldan section of the USBRL project. Officials and engineers from the Northern Railway oversaw the operation of the train trial run from Banihal to Sangaldan railway stations.
