CRS between Takari & Shenoli with speed 130 Km/hr is successfully completed as a part of Pune - Miraj doubling.
For few initial days, only goods are allowed on second track and after few weeks passenger trains will also run on new track.
Also CRS between Pune & Phursungi will be soon.

रेल्वे मार्ग दुहेरीकरण चाचणी यशस्वी

मिरज-पुणेदरम्यानच्या ताकारी-शेणोली दुहेरी रेल्वे मार्गाची चाचणी यशस्वी झाली. या मार्गावर ताशी 130 किलोमीटर वेगाने ‘निरीक्षण व्हॅन’ धावली. त्यामुळे हा दुहेरी मार्ग लवकरच वाहतुकीसाठी वापरात आणला जाणार आहे.

मिरज-पुणे रेल्वे मार्गावर दुहेरीकरणासह विद्युतीकरणाचे काम करण्यात येत आहे. या रेल्वेमार्गावरील ताकारी-शेणोलीदरम्यान 16 किलोमीटरचे दुहेरीकरणाचे काम पूर्ण झाले आहे. त्याची बुधवारी रेल्वेचे सुरक्षा आयुक्त ए. के. जैन यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाने चाचणी घेण्यात आली.

सकाळी 8.30 वाजता ताकारी रेल्वे स्थानकापासून ट्रॉली व्हॅनमधून ताकारी-शेणोली दरम्यान दुहेरी रेल्वे मार्गाची चाचणी घेण्यात आली. यानंतर शेणोली रेल्वे स्थानकाची पाहणी करण्यात आली. ताकारी-शेणोली रेल्वे मार्गावर पाच ते सहा ट्रॉली व्हॅनची चाचणी घेण्यात आली. त्यानंतर ताशी 130 किलोमीटर वेगाने ‘निरीक्षण व्हॅन’ धावली. निरीक्षण व्हॅनला कोणताही अडथळा आला नाही. ती ‘सुपरफास्ट’ धावल्याने दुहेरी मार्गाची चाचणी यशस्वी झाल्याचे जैन यांनी जाहीर केले.

मिरज-पुणे रेल्वेमार्गावर विद्युतीकरणासाठी पोल उभे करण्याचे कामही गतीने सुरू आहे. कोल्हापूर-मिरज स्थानकादरम्यान विद्युत पोल उभारणीचे काम पूर्ण झाले आहे. कोल्हापूर आणि मिरज रेल्वे स्थानकात विद्युत तार जोडणीचे काम पूर्ण झाले आहे. लवकरच कोल्हापूर-मिरज दरम्यान विद्युत तार जोडणीचे काम पूर्ण करण्यात येणार आहे.
पुणे-फुरसुंगी दरम्यान दुहेरीकरणाचे काम पूर्ण झाले आहे. या मार्गावर देखील लवकरच चाचणी घेण्यात येणार आहे. ताकारी-शेणोली दरम्यान चाचणी यशस्वी झाल्यामुळे लवकरच या मार्गावर मालवाहतूक व नंतर प्रवासी वाहतूक सुरू होणार आहे. चाचणीच्या वेळी मध्य रेल्वेचे पुणे मंडल रेल प्रबंधक मिलिंद देऊसकर उपस्थित होते.

ताकारी-शेणोलीदरम्यान दुहेरी रेल्वे मार्गाची चाचणी यशस्वी ठरली. या मार्गावरून ताशी 130 किलोमीटर वेगाने ‘निरीक्षक व्हॅन’ धावली. सध्या पॅसेंजरचा वेग 80 ते 90 आणि एक्स्प्रेसचा वेग 110 किलोमीटर असतो. या मार्गावर आता लवकरच मालवाहतूक सुरू होईल. पुणे-मिरज रेल्वे मार्गाचे दुहेरीकरण पूर्ण झाल्यावर प्रवासी वाहतूक सुरू होईल.
