Three of WCR IRTTC 2024 proposals have come up as Summer Specials. These are:
1.1.11 JBP HW Special: While for IRTTC it was proposed via LJN, the Special has been approved via ON BLM line. A serious loss this side. TT of intermediate stations has been altered a little. Shr halt is not added for the special. Slot sharing with R LJN GR for the down train.
1.1.14 JBP CAPE Special: TT exactly as proposed for IRTTC. Expecting more halts to get added. Slot sharing with Gaya MAS both the sides.
1.1.15

Rewa CSMT Special (increase in frequency) TT of the intermediate stations has been altered a little for the down train keeping origin and destination times intact. For the up train, TT has been slowed down by three hours. Hence, with 02187/8 already running, Rewa now has a biweekly train to Mumbai. Slot sharing with JBP CSMT GR both the sides.
1.1.19 RKMP MYS Special: Introduced as a weekly than bi-weekly as proposed, this runs via the bypass instead of GDG as mentioned for IRTTC. Arrival/ departure at intermediate stations has been tweaked a little slowing the down train by 20min at MYS. For the up train, TT for intermediate stations has been altered keeping times at the both ends intact. Slot sharing with BSB UBL Express both ways.
.
Hoping for more (worthy) WCR proposals to materialize.
