समस्तीपुर मंडल में दरभंगा बाईपास नई रेल लाइन के काकरघाटी से शिशो स्टेशनों (9.48 km) के बीच नवनिर्मित रेल लाइन पर कल दिनांक 11.10.2024 से ट्रेनों का परिचालन शुरू हो जाएगा। उल्लेखनीय है कि इस लाइन पर अभी केवल माल गाड़ियों( Goods Train) का परिचालन होगा। परियोजना की कुल लागत 2५3 करोड़ रुपये है।
