बरसठी रेलवे स्टेशन सौ साल से अधिक समय से ब्रिटिश हुकूमत के दौरान बना था। लेकिन आज सरकार स्टेशनों को सुविधाओं से लैस और आधुनिकीकरण स्टेशन बनाने का दावा कर रही है। परंतु इस स्टेशन पर से अपनी नजर ही हटा ली जिसके कारण आज बरसठी स्टेशन हाल्ट स्टेशन में बदल चुकी है।
यदि इस स्टेशन को क्रासिंग स्टेशन बना दिया जाये तो जाफ़रबाद-जंघई सेक्सन मे ट्रैनो को रेगना की जरुरत नही रहेगी।मड़ियाहु से जंघई के बीच एक भी क्रासिंग स्टेशन नही है।यही हाल मड़ियाहु से ज़फ़राबाद के बीच है।यदि बरसठी(BSY) और सलखपुर(SAF) को क्रासिंग स्टेशन बना दिया जाये तो इस परेशानी को समाप्त किया जा सकता है। ...
