The incident was attributed to the brake shoes of the train sticking due to the intense heat. The Vidisha station manager, C.B. Dixit, stated that the train was stopped before reaching the platform to ensure visibility of the wheels, and a team of 8-10 employees equipped with a fire safety kit were already present at the station. The incident occurred in the second coach, behind the engine.

Baad me, dono Lal Pathar ke ek relative ke ghar gaye aur market jaane ke liye nikal gaye, lekin waapas nahi aaye.
