1) आने वाले वर्षो में न्यू बंगाईगांव– न्यू अलीपुरद्वार– न्यूजलपाईगुड़ी की ओर से मेन लाइन पर किशनगंज होकर आने जाने वाली ट्रेनें आमबाड़ी– फालकाटा और सिलीगुड़ी जंक्शन के बीच बायपास बनने के बाद न्यूजलपाईगुड़ी न जाकर सीधे सिलीगुड़ी जंक्शन– बागडोगरा रूट पर आ सकेगी। फाइनल लोकेशन सर्वे के टेंडर जारी कर दिए गए है।
