Travel Tip: Never sleep after Dhanbad when your train is passing through stations like Bholldih, Nimiaghat, Guraru, Paraiya, Gujhandi, Dilwa, Gurpa, Paharpur, Manpur, Dehri-On-Sone, Sasaram and Babhua Road since these areas are well-known for insurgency and robberies on trains. Kindly stay vigilant during sleep mode also when your train passes through these stations after Sunset... thanks!!!

YouTube Video Description: "A full journey compilation aboard India's fastest train (when the journey was undertaken, this honour was with the Bhopal Shatabdi), the 12260 New Delhi Sealdah Duronto Express, which covers the 1,453 km distance between New Delhi and Kolkata in a mere 16.5 hours, at a frenetic average pace of 89 kmph, with a maximum permissible speed of 130 kmph.
The fourth part of this compilation captures the Duronto's progress over the 117 kilometres between Son Nagar and Paharpur in Bihar. The Son River had necessitated a reduction in speed and our Ghaziabad WAP7 furiously accelerate through the large yard at Son Nagar and notch up to a 130 kmph in about 3 minutes, covering the next 5 kilometres

after Son Nagar in approximately 3 minutes. Our speed however is arrested soon after due to speed restrictions at Anugraha Narayan Road which we skip at a sedate pace.
We return to our merry ways soon after and thunder towards Gaya through the rugged plains of south-eastern Bihar, as some WAP4 hauled train screams past near Phesar. My father woke up around this time and as I updated him about our progress, the Duronto blazed through Rafiganj at 130 kmph.
The hills of south-eastern Bihar start dotting landscape after Rafiganj as we cross the dry beds of the Morhar river and enter Gaya, covering the 85 kilometres between Dehri-on-Sone and Gaya in 58 minutes at an average speed over 85 kmph.
The station of Gaya is located on a stunning S-curve, parallel to a small hillock. Trains entering from the western side undertake a massive left-hand curve, draw adjacent to the station, and subsequently, exit through a right hand curve past a small hillock and onto the bridge over the perennially dry Phalgu river.
The Gaya-Gurpa stretch is dotted with a number of small hillocks forming the backdrop of a lovely plain, as the Chhota Nagpur Hills slowly announce their arrivals. The soil slowly changes colour from yellowish brown to a richer hue of red as we cruise past the stations of Manpur, Tankuppa and Paharpur towards Gurpa, from where the Chhota Nagpur Range starts, covered in Part V of this compilation."
