अलविदा मीटर गेज। घोघरडीहा से झंझारपुर के बीच परिचालन बंद होने से बस कुछ दिन पहले की तस्वीर, अब एक सुनहरे इतिहास के हिस्से की यादें बन कर रह गयी हैं। DARBHANGA से १९३४ तक फारबिसंगज के बीच रेल सेवा, फिर इस का निर्मली तक सिमट कर रह जाना। बहुत उतार चढ़ाव का गवाह रहा यह रेल खंड करीब ८२ साल के लंबे इतंजार के बाद, फिर से नये अवतार में दरभंगा को पुर्वोत्तर राज्यो से जोड़ने को हो रही तैयार। इस रेल खंड का अब जमीन पर उतरने का इतंजार हैं।
