Track: Quadruple Electric-Line

When I was returning from an NFR Trip in July 2019 (Videos of it are already up, please do check them out); I had decided to come via Nagpur, thus covering that portion of the Mumbai Howrah Line, which was on my bucket list since forever. My train was running pretty well up to Jharsuguda. Then we entered S.E.C.R Territory; those of you who are familiar with this would know, it is (in)famous for its plethora of freight actions.

a glimpse of this. Ib, it is a station with the shortest name in Indian Railways's Network; followed by a bridge over the River of the same name. At Ib, the mainline towards Nagpur was occupied by a freighter, we were looped, obviously; and the second loop too was occupied by a freighter headed by twin WDG-4Ds from Visakhapatnam.

As soon as we left the station, we crossed the Ib River Bridge. And the freight sightings had just started. I was on the non track side seat, but trust me when I say this, we crossed as many as 9 Python freighters that day, none of which I could capture, mainly because I didn't anticipate any of them and also because my train was packed to capacity.

This was just the beginning. We were delayed by close to an hour and half by the time the train pulled into Nagpur Jn. The (in)famous freight traffic of S.E.C.R region had shown its effect. Hope you enjoyed this short clip.

NOTE: I have been told by multiple people about a station Od, in the Anand - Godhra section; which is also a 2 letter word station; I would like to clarify that I am aware of this, and nowhere have I mentioned that Ib is the only shortest word station in IR. So, hopefully, let there be no debates in this regard. Peace.
