The previous government had agreed that it would give 50% funds for the NADIKUDI - KALAHASTI new railway line. But the current government says we can not given funds for this project. At present the railway line has been completed Only from New Piduguralla to Savalyapuram. The project will be completed only if the Central Govt give funds for the construction of this railway line.Otherwise the project will stop here.

RTI reply on NDKD - KHT new line status A SCR proposal has been sent to the Railway board that if the state government gives land free for the NDKD - KHT new line, all the cost of construction of the line should be borne by the RB
