Hazaron passengers KR stations pe phanse hue hain aur heavy rainfall aur flood ki wajah se road traffic bhi bahut affected hai. Trains heading towards Goa were stopped at stations in Sindhudurg, while trains coming from Goa towards Mumbai were held in Goa. The Ernakulam Express, Tejas Express, and Janshatabdi Express were stranded for over three hours in Kankavli, Kudal, and Kudal respectively. Railway staff immediately started clearing mud and debris from the tracks, allowing for partial resumption of services late at night. However, due to water accumulation in the Peddane tunnel, some trains were cancelled and others rerouted. This information was provided by Sachin Desai, Public Relations Officer of Konkan Railway.

Wednesday subah Peddane tunnel mein fir se pani bharne ki wajah se services band karni padi. Mumbai se chali hui kuch trains cancel kar di gayi, aur kuch trains ka route change kar diya gaya. Goa jaane wali trains Sindhudurg ke kuch stations par ruk gayi, aur Goa se Mumbai aane wali trains Goa mein hi rok di gayi. Kankavli mein Ernakulam Express, Kudal mein Tejas Express aur Janshatabdi Express tin ghanton se zyada samay tak stranded rahi. Railway staff ne tracks se mitti aur chikhla saaf karne ka kaam immediately shuru kar diya, jiske karan raat mein services aanshik roop se restart ho payi. Par Peddane tunnel mein fir se pani bharne ki wajah se kuch trains cancel kar di gayi aur kuch trains ka route change kar diya gaya. Yeh information Konkan Railway ke Public Relations Officer Sachin Desai ne di hai.
