This station lies at the outside boundary of Lucknow [Well, outskirts is a tough to define term nowadays as cities expand; it USED to be considered the outside of LKO back in the day but transportation is easily available these days. ] Still, lots of agricultural fields on the other side which means the city hasn't expanded properly yet. It lies on the LKO - Raebareily route. Currently, only one train LKO-PYGS stops here.

passenger by which I came was two hours delayed today; that's why I was able to come to this station :p. Funny thing happened today as well. To take tickets from LKO NR station coming from PF seven side, one can either take the longer route or the shorter route. The problem with the latter is that on the unfortunate occasion, one might run into a TTE. I almost ran into a TTE checking tickets [he caught the guy next to me since the shorter route runs right through main platform].

There's also a train siding visible in the images though it's rarely used.
