Southern Railway will operate three special trains From March 24, in order to clear extra rush.
Suvidha special would start from Kochuveli at 2115 hrs on March 24 to reach Mangalore Junction at 1130 hours on next day. In the return direction, it would start from Mangaluru Junction at 1540 hours on March 27 to reach Kochuveli at 0500 hours on next day.
With a composition of one 2AC, One 3AC and 12 sleeper class coaches the train would have stoppages at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur, Tirur,...

Suvidha special train would start from Kochuveli at 1835 hours on all Sundays between April 10 and June June 26 to reach Krishnarajapuram at 0800 hours on following Mondays. The train would have one 2AC, three 3AC and 12 sleeper class coaches and would have stoppages at Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore and Erode stationsd.
The superfast special fare would start from Chennai Central at 2230 hours on April 22 and 29 to reach Ernakulam Junction at 1045 hours on following Saturdays. In the return direction, it would start from Ernakulam junction at 1900 hours on April 24 and May one to reach Chennai Central at 0715 hours next day.
With a composition of One 2AC, Two 3AC and 12 Sleeper class coaches, these trains would have stoppages at , Aluva, Thrissur, Ottappalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore ,Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, and Arakkonam stations. Trains towards Chennai will have additional stoppage at Perambur and towards Ernakulam will have special stoppage at Ernakulam town
