This train operates six days a week, excluding Tuesday. The Howrah-Rourkela train (20871/20872) departs Howrah at 6:00 AM and reaches Rourkela at 11:50 AM. The return journey starts at 1:40 PM and reaches Howrah at 7:40 PM. This train also operates six days a week, excluding Tuesday. The Tata-Patna train (21893/21894) will operate on a weekly basis, starting from September 22nd. The train will depart Tata at 5:30 AM on Sundays and arrive in Patna at 3:55 PM.
