Train schedules disrupted after derailment near Vijayapura in north Karnataka

On September 24th, 2024, a train derailment occurred near Vijayapura, Karnataka, disrupting train services between Hubballi and Solapur. Train no. train services have been partially cancelled or diverted, including Train No. 07322, 11306, 17030, 07321, 11139, 11140, 17307, 17308, 16535, 16536, 07663, 11305, 11306, 07664, 17029, 07331, 16218, and 17319. SWR officials are working to restore operations as swiftly and safely as possible. Catering arrangements are in place at Vijayapura station for passengers of Train No. 17319, and buses have been arranged for stranded passengers of Train No. 16535 and 17319.
