Section 306 (abetment to suicide) of the Indian Penal Code. The investigation revealed that Aarti and Asharam had an affair, but he concealed his marital status from her. When Aarti found out about his marriage, she ended the relationship. Asharam then allegedly harassed her mentally, leading to her suicide. Asharam, who was previously posted at the Bir Singhpur Pali railway station on the Shahdol-Katni rail route, is currently working as a station master in the Ratlam division.
