Quite easy to give suggestions but not very easy to implement . There are so many sectors in IR where trains cross stations during afternoon, evening where ecatering service is not available at all. In such cases pantry car becomes very important
Instead of Pantry Car, they can load food at enroute stations according to timings they reach. This process is currently being carried in many Shatabdi and other expresses which does not have pantry cars.
Yes. For short distances etc not much of an issue but for longer duration trains the stations need to have sch facility. A good example is Konkan railways where for long stretches stations do not have ecatering facilities especially if trains cross during luch time/dinner time .
Wrong suggestions, instead they have to give pantry car to long distance trains and dining car to short distance train like Deccan Queen and earn money. If non authorised vendor sale food items then that earning is not possible.
