Few suggestions:-
1. A simple 2 km branch line originating between Hebbal and Lottegollahalli to link YPR-YNK line cutting through the outer ring road will do wonders. No need of loco reversals at YPR. Trains from Hosur side can go to Yelahanka side without any problem.
2. Rlys should link YPR-SBC lines to SBC-JTJ side lines at SBC. This will save lot of time, money, and energy. Trains like LTT-CBE can enter via YPR to SBC and go out via BNC side. Though loco reversal is required in this case, will save atleast...
more... 1 hour. Also, few DEMU can run from YPR-SBC-KJM. Few trains coming from JTJ side can run towards TK side, which is not possible now.
3. I would suggest that a line linking KJM-BWT line to BAND-HSRA line (branching from somewhere near Whitefield and connecting near Bellandur) will do wonders. Trains from Electronic city (Heelalige) or Hosur side can run towards Whitefield. Also, trains from MAS side can run upto Hosur.
4. I would suggest a line branching from Bidadi to Heelalige completely bypassing the Bengaluru city can be planned. With this, trains from anywhere to SBC can run towards Hosur without loco reversal.
5. New line linking Doddaballapur to Dabaspet parallel to the existing road (getting widened) will be helpful in running trains from KJM side to TK side, without entering city at all. All goods movement can become faster and main stations will be free for passenger trains.
6. A new halt station for Airport should be constructed in CBP line.
